This April, the Ohio State University Mansfield (OSU-M) Campus will celebrate Earth Day as part of the Earth Day Network’s mission to diversify, educate, and advocate for environmentalism across the globe. OSU-M will host the event in conjunction with the Campus Activities Board (CAB) and invites attendees to participate in multiple interactive educational experiences and a trash clean-up scavenger hunt.
The festivities will begin at the micro-farm near parking lot #7 and will progress through six stations around campus. At these stations, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the microfarm, vernal pools, local wetlands, and transplanting seeds. Professors from OSU-M will be on hand to give educational talks related to the individual stations.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
