Biography
Dorian S. Ham is a writer, educator, and song & dance man based in Columbus, Ohio. He's done some cool music stuff for people like Nicole Stanton, Cassie Meador, Anne Burnidge, Quillian "Cue" Arnold and Bessie award winner Bebe Miller, among others, as well as in the Department of Dance at The Ohio State University. He has also collaborated and performed with Grammy-award winning Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid and his band Masque. He spent 13 summers, as a faculty member of the Governor's School of North Carolina East. He also performs and releases mixtapes and music as CitizenDorianS.

What are you reading, viewing, listening to right now?
Reading: "Prince And Little Black Boy Gods" by Scott Woods, "Rookie: On Love" Edited by Tavi Gevinson, the "Dawn of X" comic book series (which encompasses a BUNCH of titles), and "Creative Quest" by Questlove.
Listening: A bunch of BBC Radio1 and 1Xtra specialty shows, "Sunchockes" and "Slow Buzz" by Remember Sports, "Singles" by Screaming Females, "Experimental Jet Set, Trash And No Star" by Sonic Youth, "Rising Down" by The Roots, "The Dissociatives" by The Dissociatives, "Throw Down Your Arms" by SInead O' Connor
Watching: "Voltron:Legendary Defender," "The Good Place," "Doctor Who," "Hilda," "Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj," "SIngle Parents"....I watch a lot of TV that I won't list all out here.
What practices are sustaining you?
Dancing in dark rooms with friends and strangers (Remember, a stranger in life is a neighbor on the dancefloor!), seeing live music, seeing friends' artistic pursuits, the surprise of a good album.
